Model Public Law College is located at Behjoi Road in Chandausi town, 44 km south of Moradabad city. The college offers 180 seats in LLB course (self-financed). The College fee is As per university norms.
MPLC was founded by an eminent educationist, Prof. (Dr.) Shripal Singh Yadav, former Member of Parliament and former Head of Geography Department at SM College, and a famous medical practitioner, Dr Om Prakash Kanchan. It is affiliated to MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly and Approved by the Bar Council of India, Delhi.

Late Dr S.P. Singh Yadav
Dr SP Singh Yadav was born on April 6, 1942, at Ahrola Nawabad village in Gunnaur tehsil of Badaun district in Uttar Pradesh. His father Late Chaudhari Bhay Singh was a major landlord, while his mother Late Mrs Hoshwati was an educated and wise woman. He received primary education at the Primary School, Manikawali, and junior high school education at Junior High School, Dabthara.
Late Dr O.P. Kanchan
Dr Om Prakash Kanchan was born on May 12, 1935, in a Punjabi Khatri family of Pakpatan sub-district of Mintgumri district, now in Pakistan. His father Late Babu Baijnath was a jeweller there, but after partition he settled in Chandausi city as a commission agent dealing in food grains. He was founder member of Shri Sanatan Dharma Sabha and was a forerunner in social works. His mother Late Mrs Hakim Devi was a housewife.
